  2. Keep the separate Fleer sticker outside this comparison.
  3. Record raw condition or the exact grading company, grade and label qualifiers.

The card and the sticker need separate searches

The Fleer name and a Jordan portrait are not a complete identity. Start with both sides and the card number, then compare the layout with the PSA CardFacts reference. A listing for the sticker or a commemorative reproduction belongs outside the #57 group.

Do not borrow a price simply because the seller calls an item a Jordan rookie. The object being sold, its issue and its condition must agree with your research question.

A raw example needs more than a familiar front

Request an unobstructed front and back rather than a photo taken through a scratched holder. Note corners, edges, centering and visible surface problems. These observations help describe the copy; they do not authenticate it from a photo.

A seller’s reference to an authentic example is not authentication of the offered copy. When originality or alteration is unresolved, preserve that uncertainty rather than pricing the card as an already authenticated item.

Build the comparison around the label you actually have

For a slabbed card, use the same company, numeric grade and any qualifying designation. An altered or authentic-only label answers a different question from a numeric grade. For a raw card, begin with raw evidence and avoid assigning it an imagined PSA grade.

Review several recent completed single-card sales. Record the date and what each amount includes; an old record sale and a current asking price do not become equivalent observations.

YOUR COPY · YOUR CONDITION

Build the Michael Jordan #57 search

The form starts with this issue and an editable Base finish. Confirm the actual version, then choose raw condition or your real grading company and grade. A catalog selection does not authenticate a card. Searches and sales requests start when you use the tool.

For 12/99, enter copy 12 and print run 99. Searches use /99 to find other copies, not just yours.

Review every returned match. Where the tool supplies sales observations, their dates and identity matter; at least three eligible observations are required for an aggregate range. Read the method →

Questions about this issue

Does a Jordan #57 price apply to the Fleer sticker?

No. The sticker and card are different collectibles and require separate comparisons.

Can I use PSA 10 sales for my raw copy?

They describe already graded items. They do not establish your card’s grade or expected proceeds.

Identity sources and evidence limits

References checked 2026-10-30. Certification examples describe recorded copies and support issue identification. They do not authenticate another card, establish its grade or promise its selling price.
