PRIVACY

What happens to your research information.

Updated 25 October 2026. You can read our guides and build sold-listing search links without an account. The form is kept in the current page’s memory; we do not provide a saved collection or account history.

Search links and optional catalog requests

Building search links happens in your browser. Opening an eBay link sends the search terms in that link to eBay. Clicking Find cards sends your catalog search text to our server and then to CardSight. Selecting a catalog card, parallel, condition, or grading company/service/grade sends the relevant selections to our server; requesting sales sends the corresponding catalog identifiers and time window to CardSight. These actions are separate from optional analytics and work without analytics consent.

Do not enter names, contact details or other personal information in the research fields. We do not send card photographs in this web workflow. The CardSight API credential stays on the server.

Hosting and request protection

Cloudflare processes requests to host and protect the site. We use the connecting IP address for rate limiting. Hosting and provider systems may process operational and security logs under their own policies. Our research code does not create a database of submitted searches or persist sales responses as a user history.

Optional usage measurement

We use optional Google Analytics. A preference control lets you allow or decline analytics. The Google measurement script loads only after permission on our production domain. We measure public page paths, successful search preparation, catalog confirmation, sales-result status, guide-to-tool clicks, a fixed public guide category for search preparation, and Carduno link clicks. We exclude form text, player/card identifiers, prices, full query strings and URL fragments from the events we send.

Your choice is stored locally under wmcv-analytics-consent-v1. Allowing measurement lets Google Analytics use its analytics storage. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our configuration. You can use Cookies & choices to reopen the analytics preference and withdraw permission; this stops new measurement from this page, but does not delete previously collected records or browser cookies automatically.

Marketplace listings

On supported player and research pages, opening the page automatically requests a fixed, page-specific eBay listing query through our related Carduno service. This listing route uses eBay only; it does not request CardSight catalog, pricing or sales data. This request does not send your checker form fields. When results appear, listing images load directly from eBay’s image servers; those requests expose your IP address and ordinary browser request information to that service. Clicking a listing opens eBay. These listings are separate from analytics and are not completed-sale evidence.

Advertising and Google services

Google AdSense advertising is not currently enabled on this site. If enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits across sites. Advertising will require separate controls where applicable; accepting analytics does not give advertising consent.

You can manage personalized Google ads at My Ad Center and participating third-party advertising choices at AboutAds choices. Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and its privacy policy. We will identify additional advertising vendors and update this policy if we enable them.

Privacy requests

Email n.metinkara@gmail.com for questions or requests relating to information we control. Include only information needed to explain your request. Do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents. If a request concerns records held by an external service, we may direct you to that provider.

External services and contact

CardSight, Cloudflare, Google, eBay and Carduno operate their own services. Following an external link is subject to that service’s policies. See our contact page for privacy questions or correction requests. The research method and limitations are explained in our methodology.
